According to the tradition of French chocolate makers, the chocolates with pure cocoa butter of La Fee Gourmande are cut with a guitar and coated by hand. All chocolate fillings are made with noble ingredients revealing a high cocoa content percentage. Flavored with flowers, fruits or spices, La Fee Gourmande’s chocolate fillings reveal delicate and unique fragrances.
La Fee Gourmande also prepares several flavored caramels remarkably balanced with coatings of dark, milk or white chocolate from around the world. Handmade spreads, fruit candy, nougats, desserts, gelato and sorbets are also prepared at the chocolate factory in Kamouraska.
The tasting workshop "Selection of Pure Origin" is offered to visitors. While discovering the history, the cocoa cultivation and transformation process of cocoa beans, visitors will taste four great Pure Origin chocolates.
La Fee Gourmande also offers two lodging suites located in the chocolate factory. Built in 1850, this Quebec typical house charms visitors with its architecture typical to the village of Kamouraska. One of the suite is equipped with a steam shower (hammam). A Bed & Chocolate package is also available year round.
